RunTV is the free multi-screen IPTV player for Android TV, and it keeps getting better. Here is what we have shipped lately.

LatestAugust 2026

RunTV is now on every screen you own

Apple TV. A native tvOS app with multiview, Live Games, movies and series, controlled from your iPhone.
iPhone and iPad. A full player that doubles as the remote for your TV. Watch on the phone, send it up with one tap, take it back when you leave.
Android phone and tablet. The same, on Android.
Mac and Windows. Real desktop apps that play the streams browsers refuse, and drive your TV from the same window.
One account across all of them. Favorites and paired TVs follow you everywhere you sign in.

Live Games is quick now. Scores are held for a moment after they load, so reopening the list is instant instead of a wait, and switching between leagues filters what is already there rather than fetching all over again.
The whole view responds. Game rows, league pills, the channel picker and its Cancel button all give the same haptic feedback the rest of the app does.
More channels on screen. Channel picker rows are shorter, so you see about a third more of them without scrolling.
Your own TV stays yours. Turning on Make TV Private no longer locks out the phone that is already paired to it. Only a new, different account is turned away.
Steadier playback on the phone. Fixes to how a stream is glued to its card, so the picture lands where it should and stays there.

No more missing matches. If you had more than 30 leagues enabled, Live Games quietly stopped looking past the first 30, so games showing on your TV never appeared on your phone. It now covers every league you turn on, fetched in the background so a big list does not slow the app down.
The Live Games count is honest again. The number on the button is now counted the same way as the list, so it cannot say 1 while five matches are playing.
Live Games feels like the rest of the app. Tapping a game, going back and switching between team, players, events and bets now give you the same haptic feedback everything else does.
Tidier game cards. The channel badge sits under the clock instead of beside it, and the score stays centered whatever the team abbreviations are.
Catch up and the guide. Continued fixes to catch-up timing and EPG matching so programmes line up with what is actually on.

New centered split screen. Two channels side by side, equal and centered, as a one-tap layout.
Streams recover on their own. If a channel drops or your provider hiccups, RunTV reconnects in the background and brings it back, with a reconnecting indicator so you can see it returning. No need to re-cast.
No more dropped buffers. A channel that stalls now rebuffers and resumes in place instead of closing.
Faster recovery when a live stream ends, plus a stack of multi-zone stability fixes.

Magic link. Paste any link and RunTV detects M3U or Xtream Codes, opens the right form pre-filled, and jumps you to naming it.
Redesigned source panel. All your M3U and Xtream sources in one list, each with a live count of channels, movies and series. Tap to switch, refresh or edit any provider, all in one clean view.
Smarter connection pool. Add every login from your provider and RunTV pools them, so zones spread across connections automatically and recover on their own.
New entry screen on the TV app. A cleaner start that walks you into pairing and setup.
Fixes. First-run intro no longer loops, sources load instantly, plus a stack of speed and stability fixes.

Catch Up plays reliably. A decoder fix made catch-up through the Xtream archive solid, so finished programs play without dropping the zone.
Steadier multi-screen. More stable playback across up to 4 zones, with faster recovery when a stream or the connection hiccups.
Private pairing. Lock your TV so only your already-paired phones can control it, while they stay connected.
Better audio handling. Fewer silent-channel surprises on surround audio setups.

Live sports

World Cup view. Every fixture auto-matched to the channels in your own playlist, live tables, and stats.
Live game auto-match. Tap a live game and RunTV finds the channel carrying it in your playlist, no scrolling thousands of channels.
Live sidebar widgets. Scores, markets, prediction markets and fantasy while you watch.

The foundation

Multi-screen. Up to 4 live streams on one TV across 8 layouts: split screen, picture-in-picture, big plus small, and a 4-way grid.
